1. You’re going to Google things. . . a lot.
  2. Your first time doing anything is going to be awkward and weird.
  3. The boyfriend/girlfriend you have is probably temporary, but that doesn’t mean you should treat them that way.
  4. Your calendar is your best friend.
  5. You’ll check your bank account about as much as you check Facebook.
  6. Not knowing what you’re doing in life, or tomorrow, or even for breakfast, is not a bad thing.
  7. You’re not supposed to have everything figured out.
  8. If you’re able to pay your bills and eat, you’re not broke. You’re responsible.
  9. That iPhone/Apple Watch/designer purse sure looks nice, but it’s only a small step in the big picture.
  10. Think before you buy stuff, because payments and debt sucks.
  11. The only labels people can give you are the ones you let define you.
  12. People are mean, constantly.
  13. No one owes you anything.
  14. The best food in the world will always be what your mom makes you.
  15. Your birthday is not a big deal after 21. It’s just a day you cheat on your diet.
  16. People don’t grow out of high school politics, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t either.
  17. You won’t be praised for everything you do, but you will eventually get what you deserve.
  18. Don’t let people judge you.
  19. Everyone has something wrong with them.
  20. The strongest people are the ones who have been tested to their breaking points and still get up.
  21. Do what makes you happy, as long as it doesn’t involve being an axe murderer.
  22. The music you listen to, the clothes you wear, and the people you hang out with do not make you who you are.
  23. It gets better, always.
